What are the admission requirements for the Foundation year program for the college of Medicine?

- You will still have to achieve the other requirements for admission to the Faculty of Medicine:
- a pass in the SRU Direct Admission Exam.
- Obtain a 5.00 in IELTS (or equivalent).
- -You are required to complete the Foundation year in the health track. This is because it contains core subjects such as chemistry, physics, and biology.
- -The University accepts Saudi and non-Saudi students.
- -Yes, students apply to the University through the Education Gate, which can be reached by logging into the University website > E- Services > Education gate. Click here
- -Tests are held at the Sulaiman Al Rajhi Educational City in Al Bukayriyah.
- -There is no requirement to obtain a specific certificate of IELTS or STEP in order to enter the Foundation year. However, students must pass a placement test.
- -Yes, a 5 in IELTS is required or its equivalent.
- -There are no initial registration fees. However, a non-refundable fee of 2,000 SAR for bachelor’s programs and 3,000 SAR for master’s programs is charged for issuing a university ID number and reserving a seat.
- -Yes, you send an email to admission@sr.edu.sa and explain your new situation. Please do not forget to mention the application number. The results will be amended after we verify the authenticity of the submitted information through the National Center for Assessment (Qiyas).
- -The results will be announced according to the admission schedule dates.
- -There are no differences in the admission requirements.
- -Yes, but, upon receiving final admission to one university, you must withdraw your application from the other universities.
- -Applications are currently available through our website, and you can also apply by contacting the admissions office .
- -Yes, you can apply electronically and manually enter the score. Afterward, please contact the admissions office to update the score via the following email: admission@sr.edu.sa.

What is the Admission Schedule?

- First step: online registration through the the University website sr.edu.sa top menu Admission> Apply Now > choose the wanted educational path.
- Second step: -Passing the acceptance test: English language Test (for high school graduates) Direct Admission Exam (for those who have completed the Foundation year).
- Third step: announcing candidates via email.
- Fourth step: Print the acceptance notice of the student, and pay the reservation fees. Then you must send the required documents to the admission department: admission@sr.edu.sa
- Fifth step: Issuing University ID
- Sixth step: Paying the tuition fee according the initial admission letter.
- Seventh step: Receive the academic schedule and the University ID card.
