The objectives of the first semester include but are not limited to enhancing student’s oral communication skills via individual and group work such as brainstorming, group discussions/conversations, interviews, and oral reports; improving pronunciation, grammar, and general English fluency; developing a strong foundation in listening comprehension via audio clips, academic note taking, and lectures; and preparing the student to achieve success in standardized English Exams.
