Introduction

The bachelor of medicine program was established to offer high quality medical education, develop research capacity and provide community service to the Qassim Region in particular, KSA, and the world in general. The education methodology adopted for the program aims at raising the clinical competence of graduates by developing their critical thinking skills and making them lifelong learners.the program graduates Physicians holding Bachelor’s Degree of General Medicine and General Surgery.

The program focus mainly on

    • Meeting the national need for qualified physicians and improving the physician-patient ratio according to the Strategic Plan of the Higher Education
    • Contributing to improvements in the health status of Saudi population by improving the health care system with trained health professionals
    • Preparing health care professionals who are aware of the sociocultural needs of Saudi Arabia.
    • Serving international underserved communities by attracting outstanding students from those communities.

The program learning outcomes are derived literally from The SaudiMeds to ensure compliance with job market needs.communities.The program learning outcomes covers all the learning domains (Knowledge-Cognitive skills-Interpersonal Skills & Responsibility-Communication, Information Technology, and Numerical and Psychomotor skills.
