What are the admission requirements for the Preparatory year for college of Medicine?
- Have graduated high school in the natural sciences group during the previous three (3) years with a percentage of 90% or equivalent.
- Pass the aptitude and achievement test with a percentage of 75% or higher.
- Pass the English placement test for the admission or achieve 63 in STEP or equivalent.
- Pass a personal interview session.
- Be medically fit.
- Acceptance is Competitively among students after the applicability of the admission requirements.
I have finished the preparatory year program at Qassim University with a GPA of 3.75, and I would like to know, how can I join SRC?
- You will still have to achieve the other conditions for admission to the Faculty of Medicine:
- Passing Direct Admission Exam.
- Obtaining a 500 score in TOEFL (or equivalent).
- Passing an interview.
I have completed the preparatory year program in the general path, will I be accepted in the first year of medicine?
It is required that you complete the prep year program in the health track. This is because it contains certain subjects such as: chemistry, physics, and biology.
Does the college accept Saudis only?
The colleges accept Saudi and non-Saudi students who fit the admission criteria for each college.
Does the application require the student to attend university?
Students apply to the colleges through the Education Gate; which can be reached by logging into the college website > E- Services > Education gate.
Where will the admission tests take place?
Tests are held at the Sulaiman Al Rajhi colleges in the province of Al Bukairyah. However, for male students tests will also be available in Riyadh City.
Where will the interviews take place?
Interview will be in the Sulaiman Al Rajhi colleges in the province of Al Bukairyah.
Is a certain degree required in English in order to be accepted in the preparatory year program? What is the required results, whether from the TOEFL exam or STEP?؟
There is no requirement to obtain a certain degree of TOEFL or STEP in order to enter the preparatory year program. However, students must pass a placement test.
Is a certain degree required in English in order to be promoted to first year of medicine? What is the required score?
Yes, a TOEFL score of 500 or 5 in IELTS is required, equivalent STEP score of 83.
How much is the registration fee in SRC?
2000 SR, which is calculated towards the tuition fees. However, it is non-refundable in the case of withdrawal.
Is it possible to amend the marks of the achievement test when the new grades are issued?
Yes, it can be modified by sending an email to email@example.com with an explanation of the problem. Please do not forget to mention the application number. The results will be amended after we verify the authenticity of the submitted information through the National Center for Assessment.
When will we receive a response in regards to being accepted?
The results will be announced according to the admission schedule dates (please check the collage website)
Is there a difference in admission requirements between male and female students?
There are no differences in the admission requirements.
Can I apply to more than one university?
Yes, but after the student receives the acceptance letter from the admission Dept., he/she must be discharged from any other university which he was accepted in.
Is it possible for visiting students to apply to the colleges?
Currently, this feature is not available through the Education Gate for both Male and Female.
If I have not received my achievement test results, when can I apply?
The applicant can submit the previous test score. This can be modified later by emailing the admission department, explaining the problem as well as quoting the application number.
What is the size of the file allowed to be uploaded in the application form?
The file size allowed is 1 MB.

What are the steps in order to be admitted to the college?
- First step: online registration through the Education Gate (www.sr.edu.sa > E- Services > Education Gate)
- Second step: Passing the acceptance test: English language Test (for high school graduates) Direct Admission Exam (for those who have completed the preparatory year program).
- Third step: Attend the interview.
- Fourth step: announcing candidates.
- Fifth step: Print the notice of acceptance of the student, and pay the registration fees. Then you must send the required documents by Saudi Post (or other confidential shipping company) to SRC.

What are the available colleges?
Currently there are various colleges, which include:
- Sulaiman Al Rajhi School of Business: Bachelor degree in Business Administration, accounting and information system, Finance and Risk Management. (Male students Only)
- Collage of Medicine: Medicine and Surgery.
- College of Applied Medical Sciences: Laboratories.
- Collage of Nursing. (Female students only).
Is there a pharmacy department?
There is currently no pharmacy department.
Do the colleges specialize in medicine only?
No, along with the Medical collages, we have Colleges of Humanities as Sulaiman Al Rajhi School of Business.
Does the university have a partnership with international universities?
The Faculty of Medicine has an academic partnership with the Holland based “University of Maastricht”. The University of Maastricht is one of the leading Dutch medical educational establishments in Europe. We have a partnership which is involved in the curriculum and supervision of the Faculty of Medicine program.
Where are the SRC located in Qassim?
Sulaiman Al Rajhi Colleges are located in Al Bukairyah Province. It is located on the intersection of Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah to Riyadh highway with Mohammed Al Ali Al Swailem Road.
After I graduate will I be given a certificate from the University of Maastricht?
Each graduate will be awarded an accredited certificate from SRC, as well as another certificate from the University of Maastricht.
Are the colleges accredited by the Ministry of Education in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia?
Yes, the colleges received the final accreditation from the Ministry of Education for the Faculties of Medicine, Medical Sciences and Nursing, as well as the Sulaiman Al Rajhi School of Business.
Are colleges recognized outside Saudi Arabia?
The colleges received approval from the German Academic Accreditation Authority of the Faculty of Medicine.
Are there scholarships available for non-Saudis?

What other grants are available in the absence of full scholarships?
All eligible students receive the Sheikh Sulaiman Al Rajhi Scholarship to their personal account. This is applied during the first semester / first year of joining the colleges only. According to the school system, students will receive a discount rate of 30% of the value of the official tuition fees. Yes, we currently have a female section.
Do the colleges have an educational hospital? Where do college students train?
A contract for the 300-bed educational hospital has been completed. However, our students are currently training under an agreement with the Ministry of Health in Qassim.
Where do the Internship program students train in Sulaiman AL Rajhi collage?
The Internship program students are trained in the best hospitals inside and outside Qassim Province. They are trained according to the specific regulations of the college administration department.
Is there student accommodation for the female students?
We have an arrangement for the Female Students Housing, which is under the Collage`s supervision. Nevertheless, there is a future plan for establishing a Students Housing (Male and Female) have its place in Sulaiman Al Rajhi University City.
Where is the accommodation located for male and female?
The female accommodation is located in the center of Bukayriyah near all the services and restaurants. It is a 7-minute drive from the university city.
How much is the accommodation Fees? and does it include daily meals or other services?
The accommodation fees is 1600 SR per semester, daily meals and other services are not included. Transportation is available from and to the colleges free of charge.
Is there other services provided by the accommodation?
The accommodation consists of kitchen, gymnasium, seating and reading rooms, as well as all basic electrical appliances, fully furnished and supervised by a 24-hour administrative staff.
Is it mandatory to participate in the community services activities?
Community service hours are considered as one of the requirement of graduation in Sulaiman Al Rajhi colleges. A student should complete a total of 30 community service hours in order to graduate.
