College of Applied Sciences (laboratory)
Admission requirements of the Faculty of Applied Sciences (laboratory):
- The applicant should be a graduate of natural sciences section in high school, with a cumulative average of not less than 80% or equivalent.
- A minimum score of 60 in the general aptitude test.
- A minimum score of 60 in the achievement test.
- To be medically fit.
Admission Requirements for the Faculty of Applied Sciences (Medical laboratory Program) for Diploma Holders:
- Obtaining a diploma after secondary education from an accredited university or health institute.
- The institution from which the applicant graduated must be recognized by the Ministry of Education, and the awarding body of the certificate must be officially accredited in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia if it is located outside of Saudi Arabia.
- Achieving an overall grade of at least 'Good' in the diploma program.
- Passing the personal interview.
- The applicant must be medically fit.
- Priority in selection will be given to holders of health-related diplomas.
Transfer Requirements to the University Colleges:
- The university/college from which the student is transferring must be recognized by the Ministry of Education.
- The cumulative GPA must be at least 3.00 out of 5.00 for the Medical Laboratory Program.
- A minimum score of 60 in the achievement test.
- The student must pass the university's English language test, or obtaining a score of (4.5) in the IELTS, (TOEFL IBT 32), or (64) in STEP or their equivalents, or passing the college’s qualifying semester program (if available).
- The student must be medically fit.
